(announced Sunday 21st January 2024)

Mark and Vanessa Redhouse

Mark is married to Vanessa and they have two adult daughters and a Labrador. Mark trained at Oak Hill College and has served in ministry in London, East Sussex, Brighton and Eastbourne before moving to Bromley; though he assures us that he does occasionally leave the South East!

Rev Matthew Lloyd, Associate Minister

Matt Lloyd, Associate Minister

Matt joined CCB in 2014 to help us focus on evangelism as part of the church’s Vision125 project; ‘125’ marking 125 years since the church was built. He's married to Ruth and they have 2 children. He enjoys playing wheelchair tennis, swimming and cooking, and is trying to get into woodcraft which saw him spend a day in a forest in Kent. He survived.

Emily Greig, Associate for Women's Ministry

Emily Greig, Associate for Women's Ministry

Emily (‘Ems’) joined CCB at the start of 2021 and is the first in her role, pioneering the church’s vision for women’s ministry. Ems leads our women’s ministry programme, including weekly Bible studies, monthly fellowship breakfasts and other events, and takes the lead in training and equipping women to serve the Lord as they’re called.

Rev Luke Foster, Assistant Minister (Part-Time)

Luke Foster, Assistant Minister

Luke recently joined CCB part-time to bolster our team during the interregnum by preaching and pastoring. When he’s not with us he’s a lecturer on the Cornhill Training Course. Luke is married to Mary and they have two children. The family returned to the UK last year after spending seven years in Chile with Crosslinks. They miss the mountains, barbecues, and ‘abrazos’ of Chile but are so thankful for the communities and ministries that the Lord has called them to back ‘home’ in the UK.

Zoë Tsim, Children's Ministry Assistant

Zoe Tsim, Children's Ministry Assistant

Zoë leads our primary school age children’s ministry by running ‘Explorers’ on Sundays and our after school club ‘BIG’ on Tuesdays. On Sundays she ensures the children grow in their faith by following our whole-church curriculum, learning the same as their parents. At BIG she shares the good news with children in the hope they will put their trust in Jesus Christ. Zoë loves to teach and loves to dance. Alongside her work at Christ Church she teaches Pilates and is a dancer for a Christian dance company. Both she and her husband Terry enjoy long walks in the countryside and going to the cinema together.

Giles Cattermole, Assistant Minister (part time)

Giles joined the staff team in 2022 on a voluntary basis to support the church’s ministry and to gain experience of ministry in a local church context as he explores a calling to church planting. Giles preaches regularly and oversees the church midweek small group ministry. Giles is married to Victoria and lives with his family in Orpington. He works part-time in Emergency Medicine and is a keen cruciverbalist.

Deborah Shepherd, Administrator

Debbie is the longest serving member of the staff team and provides the administrative support that is vital in enabling the church to carry out its mission. As well as the plethora of tasks needed from a church office, she coordinates many volunteers, enabling others to serve Jesus through their church. Debbie has attended Christ Church since 1987 and is ever grateful for answered prayer in being employed as the Administrator since 2010. With two grown up children happily married she now lives with an inherited dog. She loves good music and has an unending ambition to serve God, have fun, lots of holidays, and follow Jesus more closely.

Nathan Prior, Ministry Training Associate

Nathan Prior, Ministry Training Associate

Nathan is in his 3rd year as a Ministry Training Associate, combining part-time study on the Cornhill training course with serving in ministry at CCB. He leads our Pathfinders group for 11-14s, supports other ministry programmes as well as turning his hand to many of the physical tasks that the church needs in order to run well. Nathan is engaged to Katrina. He loves sport, plays football for the church football team and supports Arsenal. He enjoys chilling with friends and church family whether that’s going on walks, sharing a meal or just chatting!
