Our regular Sunday services at Christ Church feature a morning and an evening gathering every Sunday. 10.30am family gatheringIdeal for families, the 10.30 family gathering is a time spent as a whole fellowship gathered around God's word, the Bible. So, the central point of the service is reading the Bible and having it opened up to us by a speaker. All ages join together for the first part of our meeting where we sing and learn together in our Bible Bitesize spot. Bible Bitesize is where we look at a verse or two from the Bible as a whole church family, from the youngest children to the oldest adults. After this, those aged 3 – school year 9 move to their various groups where they learn from the Bible through fun activities until 12 noon. Adults stay together in the main church building for their teaching, followed by coffee. Once a month we remember together the death of Jesus Christ at The Lord’s Supper. Plus, there is a supervised crèche for the under 3s. 7.00pm the Bible talks gatheringThe 7.00 gathering is essentially the same as the 10.30am family gathering, but with a more informal time of Bible teaching, praying and singing. Many who come are under 30s. Our time all together is followed by the Café: tea, coffee and hot or cold snacks to keep you going. Once a month we remember together the death of Jesus Christ at The Lord’s Supper. Plus, sometimes we meet less formally around tables in a café style. |
