Ministry Training

One of the ways we seek to fulfil our vision of Making Jesus Known in Bromley and beyond is by offering a Ministry Training Scheme.

Jesus commanded his followers to pray for workers for the harvest field.  We believe that a new generation of well-equipped, servant-hearted, gospel minded workers is a vital need today and a practical answer to that prayer.

The vision of the Ministry Training Scheme at Christ Church Bromley is to identify, recruit, train and send out workers for Jesus Christ all around the world.

We believe the local Church is God’s mission agency to the world, offering the best foundation before undertaking further formal theological training.

Over one or two years, the flexible scheme provides the opportunity to discern whether full-time ministry is appropriate.  Some are full-time Associates at Christ Church; others are part-time at Christ Church combining with the Cornhill Training Course;  some balance their time on the scheme with part-time employment.

The scheme offers the opportunity for Bible ministry in various areas of church life with formal training based here at Christ Church and elsewhere, perhaps including meeting with other Associates from partner churches.
